Wildlife RehabilitationIf you find an orphaned or injured animal and wish to bring it to us, please call us at (770) 926-5311 and leave a message in our Wildlife Voicemail box. We will return your call a soon as we can. We will be able to let you know if we can accept the animal you have found. We accept animals during normal business hours Monday - Saturday and may be closed on certain major holidays, or we may be at capacity for certain species, so calling in advance to be sure we can accept the animal is kindly requested.
Due to state and local regulations, we ask that you please speak with one of our representatives before bringing any rabies-vector species animals to our center (bats, skunks, raccoons, coyotes, or foxes), These animals require specialized handling and specific paperwork, so we kindly ask that you respect this policy to assure that we are ready to assist you when they arrive. Our hospital functions as an intake facility where animals are admitted, triaged, and treated. While some animals with minor injuries stay with us, most animals are placed with one of our many diverse and dedicated home-based permitted rehabilitators. We feel the animals can get the very best individualized care in this manner until they can be released back into the wild. For this reason we are not able to give any updates on animals admitted to our facility. Caring for the surrounding areas wildlife is a service we offer at no charge, but donations are gratefully accepted and very much appreciated!! *Any pest control or wildlife removal company that wants to drop off wild animals with us may be required to pay a fee. If you have questions about our hospital, please contact us at (770) 926-5311 |
